EXP 3 Final

FINAL RENDERS

Outside 1
The Gonzaga Building of Computational Design was made and designed for the top computational design students in the world. With a Voronoi facade acting as the link between parametric design to architecture.

In keeping with the modular design principle, all rooms aren't designed specifically for one certain task, but rather an empty space that can cater towards anyone with any project.

Library (Left) and Hallway
The purpose with wide open hallways was to allow students and staff to feel welcome, rather than being squished into small narrow passages (i.e Red West). This allows the building to become a center of collaboration and teamwork with wide open spaces.

 Custom Textures

By applying a linear custom texture to the sliding solar panel; it mimics the technicality of a solar panel, with each strip acting as an individual solar absorbing cell.
Sliding Solar Panel
By applying a texture that explores flow, it helps mimic the bark of a tree. This helps promote sustainability, which computational designers and the built environment as a whole try to achieve in modern day design.
